Copernic Desktop Search - Professional has been especially developed for the professional user who needs to find any type of data in his/her computer or on the Internet.
We are allowed to search by the following categories: The Web, All, Files, Emails, Contacts, Favorites, History, Music, Pictures and Videos. It is possible to refine the search by typing the file name, and select dimensions, date, recent, folder (we can browse through our entire directory), skip very small images. We are allowed to customize the refined search for each category. When the matching items are found, we can see them automatically displayed in the main screen. It lets us preview any item at a larger scale. This software can search for documents with the following file formats: HTML, PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, WP, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPS, PPTX, TXT, ODT, ODS, and ODP. We can easily access the program from the icon or the search box located in the system tray. There are two other versions of Copernic Desktop Search (Home and Corporate). The former is freeware and the latter shareware. We can compare the features for the three of them at the developer's website and see which one will suit us best. |
